About the Northern Colorado Clergy Brotherhood

The Northern Colorado Clergy Brotherhood includes all Orthodox clergy (priests and deacons) serving in the Northern Colorado region, which geographically represents Colorado Orthodox parishes located in the greater Denver metropolitan area, and those located north of Denver. Participation in Brotherhood meetings is voluntary.
The Brotherhood meets periodically throughout the year to support each other's ministries and to discuss ways for parishes to worship and serve together. The Brotherhood typically concelebrates each other's feast days and many of the Sunday Vespers during Great Lent. The Brotherhood supports pan-Orthodox Lenten retreats, and encourages parishioners to participate in special events sponsored by OCMC and IOCC.

"Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?” Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”" (Mark 12:28-31-Orthodox Study Bible)
